Corporate Responsibility is at the core of the work I do to raise funds for 34 non-profit social justice community organizations. Our primary income for these groups comes from workplace, employee pay-check deductions. The employee can designate a particular group or CW where the funds are distributed equally to all members. It doesn't cost the employer anything, gives the company a positive connection to the community, and most important it provides the employee the option to give a little every time they get paid.... a real win-win. process. Marcy, thank you for your work!

Thanks very much, Ruth, for taking the time to read and comment on this. It's especially gratifying to hear from a self-proclaimed almost-Luddite, and one from my home town of Lansing, Michigan, to boot! These are the connections I'm hoping to foster, and with your help, perhaps the body politic will develop muscles it didn't realize it had!

Warm regards,

Marcy.

Saw your "Blooms" piece on the Progressive Safe House site. Love the metaphor, and the message. I live in Northern Michigan and am just shy of Ludditism, so I don't do much on the internet. But I would like to keep reading your articles. Actually we went to High School together, though my name was Jamieson then. Keep up the good work.
